작가소개

박수이는 옻칠아티스트로 전통 공예기법을 바탕으로 생활기물, 칠화, 가구 등 일상생활에 어울리는 따뜻하고 아름다운 것들을 선보이고 있다.
쓰임을 바탕으로하는 옻칠기물은 보통 30-60회의 작업 과정을 필요로 하기때문에 그 안에 수많은 손길과 작가의 마음을 새겨 서서히 드러나는
결과 색의 깊이로 표면은 단단하지만 곱고 부드러운 아름다움을 담고자한다.
숙명여자대학교 및 동대학원에서 공예학과 목칠공예를 전공하였으며 현재는 수이57아뜰리에 운영과 대학에서 겸임교수를 맡고 있다.

수이57아뜰리에 옻칠 제품은 전통적 제작 방식을 기본으로 현대적 디자인에 맞춰 생활에 아름다운 쓰임을 갖춘 공예품을 만들고자 합니다.
작업은 옻나무에서 채취한 천연도료를 나무나 삼베 등 자연재료에 칠해 친환경적이며 내구성과, 방수성이 좋은 공예제품입니다.
옻칠양면트레이는 그릇의 쟁반으로도 사용되기도 하지만 천연 재료로 마무리돼 바로 접시에 담아낼 수 있으며 뒷면 또한 접시로도 사용할 수 있다.
수이57아뜰리에에서 만든 자연친화적인 공예품이 당신의 안에서 자연스럽게 녹아 아름답게 빛나게 되길 바랍니다.
